@ non-scandinavians: how do you cut/eat your cheese?
In Scandinavia we have something called an “Ostehøvel”, a cheese slicer. It was originally invented by Thor Bjørklund in 1925 in Lillehammer. I use it every single day and it’s great. You might think buying presliced cheese is better, but no, this invention is a blessing. I recommend it. Make your life easier.
Mmmmm, well I’d say in the U.S. we use a cheese knife. But that may just be my family being fancy because we tend to like anything BUT presliced cheese made of plastic.
I use a potato peeler
Singaporean + Malaysian: Sharpest knife in the kitchen. Or break off chunks by hand if you’re a barbarian (coughMYCOUSINcough)
