Hey everyone participating in the school walkouts:
1: Read up on your state/local truancy laws. Federal law prevents students from being locked up status offenses like truancy, but some states have their own ways of dealing with this, especially if you’re already on probation. The walk-out is important but if you’re in a situation where you’d be on a tight leash regarding this or you’re just nervous, it helps to have an excuse ready.
2: Pleeeeeease be careful. The reason that teachers are required to lead their students out of the building during fire drills and fire alarms and why you’re not instructed to leave the building when theres a gun threat is because of prescedence, there’s been at least one case where shooters pulled the alarm to get people out of the building and picked them off as they went outside. Am I saying this will for sure happen to you? Of course not, the chances are slim to none, but if you’re still nervous about participating, it may just be better for your ease of mind to not attend school at all on the days of the walk-outs.
3: Don’t take shit from adults. You’re smarter than they give you credit for. This isnt a futile effort, nearly every developed nation with gun control laws has had less than 5 mass shootings in the past 18 years after gun laws were instituted. A good guy with a gun doesn’t stop a bad guy with a gun, it only makes the situation escalate and scares more people. This isn’t an issue of ‘mental illness’, this is an issue of people with bad intentions having virtually unlimited access to tools designed specifically designed to kill. Don’t be fooled.
4: if you’re going to be 18 by the time the November elections roll around, REGISTER TO VOTE. A huge chunk of the NRA shills in the government will be up for re-election, and you have the chance to get them out.
Thats all I gotta say. Be safe guys, and I hope this leads to a real chance to fix this problem.
We should be more pro-active or we’ll see more of such sad fates of honest people.
And the utterly ironic thing is I’ve seen repeated tumblr posts of that iconic photo absolutely slagging the shit out of Peter Norman as “lol white guy so uncomfortable” “Why the fuck isn’t he supporting them”, etc etc.

I feel like this is either a funeral, some handler Eggsy had on a mission that got caught in the crossfire and Eggsy wasn’t fast enough. Eggsy’s looked at the mans spouse and young son crying for long enough and it’s both a reminder of his own childhood but also he feels completely responsible for this family’s loss.
Imagine Eggsy running through a bottleneck about to stop to cut down as many as he can only to have his companion insist. “Eggsy go! I’ll hold them off” “But–!” “Eggsy go, get that intel to HQ – It’s too important to risk”
Eggsy worrying his lip for a second before throwing his remaining grenades to the man and a clip or two and taking off.

My other thought is that this is an act on a mission. Harry the debonair gentleman and his young fiancé. Eggsy plays his part as the weak and tired partner to a T. So that Eggsy has to leave the party earlier than the other guests and have a good snoop around without anyone minding that he’s left.
Him and Harry have been mingling with the target for a week or so with Harry playing the doting, caring husband-to-be besotted by his younger stunning but frail partner.
What a shock when they finally drop the act and Eggsy kicks all of the ass
