Pet Peeves When It Comes to Referring to Women.

1. Obviously. The usage of “female” when referring to a woman or girl. Female is an adjective NOT a noun, so grammatically incorrect. Using females and then using men/boys. Just go ahead and say bitches and stop trying to hide behind “females,” weak excuses of a human.

2. How often you see groups of women or an individual referred to as “girl.” No one refers to a man (above age 18), as a boy and even teenage males are referred to as “guys.” But, soooo many just use “girl” when it’s clear it should be “women.” Definitely infantilizing women.

These are a few of mine, go ahead and add more in the comments. But, it’s been grinding my gears. 😂
