On December 5, a photo of a Russian ambulance in Stockholm went
viral. Even the Swedish police got interested. Social media users
speculated that the ambulance was participating in a film or that it
belonged to the Russian Embassy in Stockholm.Apparently, the ambulance drove all the way to Sweden from St. Petersburg to take an injured resident of Russia to his homeland.
As
explained by the head physician of the Petersburg emergency room,
usually, their ambulance vehicles don’t leave St. Petersburg. This time,
however, the Russian doctors had to go to Stockholm to pick up a
patient, so he would continue his treatment in Russia.
