Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.

Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.

I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we don’t want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.

as a male victim of sexual abuse. we do exist. we have no voice. people laugh at our suffering. I cant not reblog this. 

There have been so many men who have been raped and afraid to tell anyone, and others who have told and reported it to the police and were just laughed at. Some guys who reported to the police got laughed at, their raper later came to the police and said that they got raped by the victim instead, and then the victim got arrested. And do you know what sucks even more? That even if a man is forcibly, against their will, inserted into someone else, that’s not legally defined as rape in the US. But luckily, this issue is being talked about more, and now they are making more resources for men and being more serious about this issue for them.

In the UK, they have opened 12 centres to support male victims (source: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-support-for-male-rape-and-sexual-violence-victims).
