So I’ve run into the problem a lot where I literally cannot read people’s pages because the font is too small or the color schemes are unreadable to me, so please share this page “Textise.”
While it doesn’t make finding rules, etc. easier, it does help you read threads/pages if you are visually impaired and have a link to copy the page. Usually pages can be zoomed in, but sometimes the layout doesn’t allow for that so this could be helpful and it’s free!
THIS IS GONNA SAVE MY COLORBLIND ASS SO FUCKING MUCH YOUS GUYS HAVE NO IDEA
Just a PSA, I am 100% down for it if you, as someone with a vision impairment, send me feedback on making my theme more accessible to you. I was willing to spend 4 hours modifying the hell out of the theme, tweaking the colours back and forth to get the right contrasts, and referencing dyslexia-friendly books to make my theme as accessible as I knew how to make it while still looking reasonably nice.
Trust me, I will love you for providing feedback on how I can make my theme more accessible.
Disclaimer: I am a complete self-taught noob when it comes to HTML. I’ve probably clocked in all of 20 hours coding HTML, at most. There is a good chance that I’ll have to ask for a bit of help at least pointing me in the general direction of the relevant resources.
