Prove Them Wrong!

seducemedoofus:

Thank you @releasetheclownpls for the prompt!

Matthew was sick and tired of his brothers teasing him for what he likes, tired of them mocking him for the way he talks, they just loved to be mean to him.

And he was tired of it.

Groaning, he put his face in his hands.

What can I do to prove to them that I’m not a child? He thought. Damien is the youngest out of us yet they conisder me the child.

“It does’t make sense!” He sat up in frustration.

Sinking back down on to the sofa, he closed his eyes and thought.

His unique power was often the subject of his teasing.

His brothers had more “useful” powers as Sam put it, than him.

Summoning tendrils to his aid was much more cool and dangerous than making toys appear in his pocket.

Super strength and speed were much more cool to show off than having marbles spill out of his pocket.

Hell, even being able to read peoples minds was creepy, but cool nonetheless than making a killer bunny and giving it as a gift to your friend.

“They never bothered to learn the full extent of my power and the danger it holds,” He drapped an arm over his eyes.

The sounds of battle made him sit up and go over to the back garden.

His brothers were training without him.

Rolling his eyes and running a hand down his face, a plan formed in his mind.

He glanced over to Damien to see if he caught it, thankfully he was too caught up in battling Sam to notice.

Slinking out the door and going to stand behind the group, reaching into his pockets to grip a dagger in each hand.

Sam was once again in the middle of his brothers, taking them all on like they’ve done so many times before.

Sam’s back was turned to him, Matthew squeezed in between Erik and Damien, they looked at him and nodded silently in a hello.

What was exactly going through Matthews head?

Well, something stupid and something only James has managed to do, beat Sam in training.
